A Jewish man who once lived in Israel, now lives in the United
States and is a devoted disciple of Jesus Christ.
Remember what it states in the book of Revelation 19:16...On
His Robe and on His thigh He has a name written; "King of Kings, and Lord of
Lords"

Names Are Significant
From the scriptures we learn about the importance of names, especially those
God has given. When God made the covenant with Abram, He changed his name to
Abraham. Abram means High Father or Patriarch. The name Abraham means Father
of a multitude. Jacob's name was of course changed to Israel. Jacob's name means deceiver; and as a result of wrestling with God his name is
changed to Israel, which means the prince who prevails with God.
There are many other examples in the scriptures about the meanings of names.
It is very important to recognize the names that the Lord has assigned.
The Joseph Company
This name was given by divine revelation. The name Joseph means add or
increase. His story is well known in the Old Testament and how God preserved
him through many ordeals. He had favor with both man and God, and whatever he
did the Lord made it prosper. See Genesis 39.
The word company has two distinctive meanings for this ministry:
first is a number of
persons united for joint action, and especially business. Company also stands
for a basic unit of troops. The Joseph Company is a God ordained ministry and
part of the Army of God that will be about the Father's business: building and
promoting the Kingdom of God through Jesus Christ. We plant and water, but the
Lord gives the increase.
The Joseph Company Logo
While in prayer the Lord began to reveal to me what the logo would be.
Because true ministry is Christ-centered and focused on Him, the cross is
visible. As you look at the Star of David, you will see the traditional blue
surrounded by purple. Even colors have meanings, as the Lord created all things.
Blue is the color of the sky as we look to heaven, Christ the Lord is from
heaven. Purple is the color of Royalty and Kingship. Black represents sin and
death. The red or crimson represents the precious blood of Christ. The
yellow-gold represents the glory of God in the risen Savior and the life that He
bestows to all that accept Him.
As you look at the Star of David, the national symbol of
Israel you see the purple which represents the royalty of "The King of Kings and
Lord of Lords." He was born in Bethlehem, Israel through the seed of David as
the scriptures had promised. In Revelation 22:16, Jesus says " I am the Root and Offspring of
David, the Bright and Morning Star." He acknowledges that He was born through
the line of David, but He also states He created David. Israel was blessed and
chosen to bring forth the Messiah. Jesus is referred to as "Son of David" in the
scriptures.
As you look at the cross which is a symbol of death, you see the instrument
the Lord chose to be the focal point of mankind's redemption. He died on the
cross for everyone's sin, was resurrected and lives forevermore. The black
represents his death, the red is the shedding of his blood, and the gold-yellow
is the glory of the resurrection; and the eternal life giving power bestowed on
all who believe.
As you look at the cross on the logo, you will see it strategically placed to
be coming out of the Star of David. This represents Jesus coming from and out of
Israel to reach the world. You will see that the cross is above the Star of
David. This represents the authority and importance of the cross.
